The ones we saw were only 2 to 3 inches wide but had bells strikingly colored with red stripes, making them
look like miniature hot air balloons. The West Coast Sea Nettle is similar but less colored. These pictures
show the stripes but unfortunately the red color does not come through.
The images of fuscescens I've seen on the web do not
show it with color stripes. On the other hand the tag did say West Coast Nettle ...
The photo unfortunately does not quite capture the colors, they were very much like christmas tree ornaments.
