Alien Stingers A Visit to the NY Aquarium

Pictures from an October 2002 visit to the newly opened "Alien Stingers" exhibit at the NY Aquarium. The stingers are, of course, stinging jellyfish (phylum Cnideria). And certainly alien: no head, no eyes, no brains. A glimpse back at the dawn of animal life.
